Next year, in Grade 6, students will have many opportunities to continue growing and learning together. While they will be in a new part of the building, just remind them, that I will be here willing to lend a helping hand and listening ear if they need any help.
This classroom website will remain up and all information and pictures will always be accessable to the students and families. Once on our family, always in our family. I hope that students who are moving away, will keep in contact with us, and those staying continue to set the high standards for behavior and learning that they have done this year.
As I update the website for the final time, it is very important to me that I give a big thank you to all those who constantly follow our website! I am lucky to have such loyal followers who have the same goals as me. When success for our students comes first it is easier to get through difficulties and disagreements. I thank everyone for honoring this goal through good and bad this year! It was a blast.
This week, we have much to do. Students must take everything home, and I hope to do this in waves, so the last day they aren't loaded with big heavy bags. It would be beneficial if they brought in an extra plastic bag each day to carry a few things home.
We will also be scheduling a final day party (probably happening on Wednesday), and don't forget about the themed end of the year picnic on Thursday. If you don't plan on attending, please remember that it is a half day. Students are dismissed at 12:30. We hope to see everyone at the picnic!
All the best for future success.
